Overview and Link to Care Guide
Leopard geckos (Eublepharis macularius) are terrestrial geckos native to Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India. They are one of the most popular pet reptiles worldwide due to their hardiness, docile nature, and simple care requirements. Adults reach 7-10 inches and can live 15-20 years with proper care. Unlike many geckos, they have eyelids and cannot climb smooth surfaces, making them ground-dwelling specialists.
